Educational policy of the Bangladesh Social Democratic Party (BSDP)
The Bangladesh Social Democratic Party (BSDP) believes in an inclusive, modern, and skill-based education system that prepares the next generation for a prosperous future. Our policy emphasizes free and quality education for all, with a focus on digital learning, vocational training, and scientific research. We advocate for increased investment in schools, universities, and teacher training to ensure global standards in education. BSDP is committed to reducing the urban-rural education gap and making education accessible to underprivileged communities, empowering youth to drive national progress.
1. Universal Access to Education
Access to free and quality education for all children from their early childhood through higher secondary school regardless of their socio-economic background, gender, or geographical location.
2. Quality of Education
Compulsory teacher training and professional development to improve the quality of teaching. This includes updating the curriculum to make it relevant to the needs of the 21st century, incorporating critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
3. Inclusive Education
Support of children with disabilities and special needs by ensuring that they receive appropriate resources and support. Promotion of gender equality in education by addressing barriers that prevent girls from attending school.
4. Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
Strengthen vocational education and training programs to equip young people with the skills needed for the job market, fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and self-employment.
5. Lifelong Learning
Promotion of lifelong learning opportunities for adults and out-of-school youth, including adult literacy programs and skills training, to help them adapt to changing job markets.
6. Community Engagement
Involvement of local communities in the decision-making process regarding education policies and the management of schools, encouragement of parental involvement and community support for educational initiatives.
7. Use of Technology
Integration of technology into education to enhance learning experiences and provide access to educational resources, especially in remote areas. This could include online learning platforms and digital literacy programs.
8. Civic Education
Inclusion of civic education in the curriculum to foster a sense of citizenship, social responsibility, and awareness of rights and duties among students.
9. Research and Innovation
Encouragement of research in educational methodologies and practices to continuously improve the education system. Support of innovative teaching practices and pilot programs that can be scaled up.
10. Funding and Resource Allocation
Advocate for increased public expenditure on education, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to address disparities and improve infrastructure, particularly in rural and underserved areas.

১. শিক্ষায় সর্বজনীন প্রবেশাধিকার
শিক্ষার মান উন্নত করার জন্য প্রাথমিক শৈশব থেকে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পর্যন্ত সকল শিশুর জন্য বিনামূল্যে এবং মানসম্পন্ন শিক্ষার সুযোগ।
২. শিক্ষার মান
শিক্ষার মান উন্নত করার জন্য বাধ্যতামূলক শিক্ষক প্রশিক্ষণ এবং পেশাদার উন্নয়ন। এর মধ্যে রয়েছে একবিংশ শতাব্দীর চাহিদার সাথে প্রাসঙ্গিক করে তুলতে পাঠ্যক্রম আপডেট করা, সমালোচনামূলক চিন্তাভাবনা, সৃজনশীলতা এবং সমস্যা সমাধানের দক্ষতা অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা।
৩. অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক শিক্ষা
প্রতিবন্ধী এবং বিশেষ চাহিদা সম্পন্ন শিশুদের যথাযথ সম্পদ এবং সহায়তা নিশ্চিত করে তাদের সহায়তা। মেয়েদের স্কুলে যেতে বাধা দেয় এমন বাধাগুলি মোকাবেলা করে শিক্ষায় লিঙ্গ সমতা প্রচার।
৪. কারিগরি ও বৃত্তিমূলক শিক্ষা ও প্রশিক্ষণ (TVET)
চাকরির বাজারের উদ্দেশ্যে প্রয়োজনীয় দক্ষতা অর্জনের জন্য তরুণদের প্রস্তুত করার লক্ষে বৃত্তিমূলক শিক্ষা ও প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মসূচি জোরদার করা, উদ্যোক্তা এবং স্ব-কর্মসংস্থানের সংস্কৃতি গড়ে তোলা।
৫. জীবনব্যাপী শিক্ষা
প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক এবং স্কুল-বহির্ভূত তরুণদের জন্য জীবনব্যাপী শিক্ষার সুযোগের প্রচার, যার মধ্যে প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক সাক্ষরতা কর্মসূচি এবং দক্ষতা প্রশিক্ষণ অন্তর্ভুক্ত, যাতে তারা পরিবর্তিত চাকরির বাজারের সাথে খাপ খাইয়ে নিতে পারে।
৬. কমিউনিটির সম্পৃক্ততা
শিক্ষা নীতি এবং স্কুল পরিচালনার বিষয়ে সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ প্রক্রিয়ায় স্থানীয় কমিউনিটির সম্পৃক্ততা, অভিভাবকদের সম্পৃক্ততাকে উৎসাহিত করা এবং শিক্ষামূলক উদ্যোগের জন্য কমিউনিটির সমর্থন।
৭. প্রযুক্তির ব্যবহার
শিক্ষার অভিজ্ঞতা বৃদ্ধি এবং শিক্ষামূলক সম্পদের অ্যাক্সেস প্রদানের জন্য শিক্ষায় প্রযুক্তির সমন্বয়, বিশেষ করে প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলে। এর মধ্যে অনলাইন লার্নিং প্ল্যাটফর্ম এবং ডিজিটাল সাক্ষরতা প্রোগ্রাম অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকতে পারে।
৮. নাগরিক শিক্ষা
শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে নাগরিকত্ব, সামাজিক দায়িত্ববোধ এবং অধিকার ও কর্তব্য সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির জন্য পাঠ্যক্রমের মধ্যে নাগরিক শিক্ষা অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা।
৯. গবেষণা এবং উদ্ভাবন
শিক্ষা ব্যবস্থার ধারাবাহিক উন্নতির জন্য শিক্ষাগত পদ্ধতি এবং অনুশীলনে গবেষণার উৎসাহ। উদ্ভাবনী শিক্ষণ অনুশীলন এবং পাইলট প্রোগ্রামগুলির সমর্থন করা ।
১০. তহবিল এবং সম্পদ বরাদ্দ
শিক্ষার উপর সরকারি ব্যয় বৃদ্ধির পক্ষে, বিশেষ করে গ্রামীণ এবং সুবিধাবঞ্চিত এলাকায় বৈষম্য দূর করতে এবং অবকাঠামোগত উন্নয়নের জন্য কার্যকরভাবে সম্পদ বরাদ্দ নিশ্চিত করা।
